Kellwood is a small resort town that is surrounded by lakes and mountains. It is secluded, and only one road winds through the mountains out of Kellwood. It is close to the ocean and boxed in by its beautiful geography. The terrain that downtown and residential areas were built on are very hilly, and the forest frames the city on the Northern and Southern sides. Kellwood also has a honeycomb of cave systems running underneath it, some running underground water. Emerald Lake is a popular visit for beachgoers and boaters. A number of hotels frame the lake as well as a large casino. A glance to the North across lake Kellwood will give you a look at the industrial side, where bricks are manufactured for the town, beyond is sprawling hills and farmland.
