Cynara Cusick is Daray's mother.
She is perfectly paired with her bigoted husband Chadwynn, as she has shown herself to be equally close-minded, disowning Daray when Kavonn brought him to the village badly injured simply because she was embarrassed of him. It is clear that she has disapproved of many choices Daray has made on his own in an attempt to leave the shadow cast by his deceased brother Darryn.
